Centre for Conflict Management and Transformation - Organisational Structure

At the apex of the organisation is the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council which sets the strategic direction of the organization.

Below that is the Secretariat, which is headed by the Director.

The Director oversees the day to day administration of the organisation.

The Secretariat is split into two teams, Finance and Administration, and Programmes.

 

Xavier Mudangwe - Acting Director

Acting Director Xavier Mudangwe has a sound body of academic knowledge in conflict transformation, peace building, gender, development management, development strategies, rural development and governance.

He is self-motivated, with a sense of people-oriented skills.

Xavier has over fourteen years of experience in development practice focused on conflict transformation, governance, and human rights in peace building.

Xavier Mudangwe graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in History and Development Studies (MSU), and a Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies (MSU).

Shingirai-Cele-Finance-and-Admin-Manager-CCMT Shingirai Cele - Finance and Administration Manager

Finance and Administration Manager Shingirai Cele has over 15 years’ experience in the accounting field, of which 10 years have been spent in a managerial position.

She is at the centre of managing grants, preparation of financial statements, liaising with external auditors, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, procedures, variance analysis, consolidations and preparing balance sheets for internal and external purposes.

She is a full charge bookkeeper with a track record of accurately and efficiently supporting overall accounting activities. 

 

Christof Schmidt - Advisor for Advocacy,
and Monitoring and Evaluation

Christof Schmidt is a political scientist who has been working in international development cooperation and peace-building since 2013.

He supports CCMT in the strategic focus on advocacy and research, and in strengthening the results and learning orientation of the planning, monitoring and evaluation system.

Christof holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from Leibniz Universitat Hannover.

Margaret-Chaikosa-Snr-Project-Officer-CCMT

Margaret Chaikosa - Senior Project Officer

Margaret Chaikosa is responsible for project planning and implementation.

She is a seasoned conflict transformation practitioner.

She is a senior mentor, trainer and intervenor in conflict situations.

Margaret holds a Bachelor of Education and Management, a Diploma in Education, Certificate in Counselling, Systematic Family Therapy and Facilitation, and a Certificate in Public Relations and Customer Care.

 

Tungamirai-Nyamakura-Project-Officer-CCMT Tungamirai Nyamakura - Project Officer

Tungamirai Nyamakura is a peace practitioner with over 4 years' experience and service in the development sector, working with communities.

He gained valuable knowledge from working directly with women and youths on conflict resolution intervention strategies, social accountability, citizen engagement and resource governance.

He also has knowledge of programme monitoring, evaluation and learning in the development sector.

Tungamirai holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Peace and Governance and a Post Graduate Executive Certificate in Programme Monitoring and Evaluation.

Tafadzwa Chimbandi
Finance and Administration Assistant

Tafadzwa Chimbandi is responsible for updating bank and cash book balances, petty cash and assisting the Finance Manager with financial monthly reports.

Tafadzwa has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Banking and Finance.

Ennie-Flora-Gatsi-CCMT Ennie Flora Gatsi
Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

Ennie Flora Gatsi works with the project staff to catalyze growth and development of projects within the organisation.

This is achieved through improving the quality and effectiveness of projects, by developing and implementing a sound Monitoring and Evaluation framework, to demonstrate the impact of the organisation’s work.

Ennie is a post-graduate who has a Diploma in Project Management (Project Management Zimbabwe).

Helliet Nyamunda - Communication Assistant  

Helliet Nyamunda works closely with the Programmes Team to implement media advocacy campaigns in advocacy, citizen participation and peace building.

She is responsible for the production and distribution of IEC material, broadens CCMT’s network, revives the resource centre and ensures that the communication strategy is rolled out and reviewed where necessary.

Helliet has a Bachelor of Peace Studies Honours Degree from MSU, a certificate in Communication Strategies, and a Certificate in Negotiation and Mediation.

Crispen Banda - Administration Assistant

Crispen Banda is the organisation’s driver and caretaker.

He ensures that all office and field logistics work towards the attainment of the organisation’s mission is carried out.

Petronella Chizhowa - Office Assistant

Office Assistant Petronella Chizhowa is responsible for office maintenance, keeping records of stationery and equipment, preparing lunch, receiving reception calls and receiving visitors.
